Shipping 

All Orders received before 13.00 will be despatched Same day. If time allows we will despatch goods received after that. Please note that we may not read communications after 13.00 due to time restrictions.

PortableParts are not responsible for any associated extra costs with shipping. (for example if you have to collect the goods from the post office.)

Parts People reserve the right to use a courier service to ship goods in certain circumstances. (Postal strike, high value or heavier items) We will not charge any extra than the stated advert. Our courier of choice with in the UK is APC overnight.

We will post tracking details on Ebay once goods are despatched 

Shipping Problems

We ship most goods through Royal Mail signed for service. Please note that Royal Mail do not consider goods lost until it has been missing for 15 days. They do not consider international goods lost until it has been missing for 25 days. APC overnight goods lost is 5 days.

If goods have not turned up with in the times allocated above we will despatch another item and claim the money back from the appropriate courier. 

Customer Service / Returns 

We want to provide our customers with the goods that they expect to be buying. Please double check that the part we are selling is the correct part for what you need. This will save us both time and effort.

If the goods are unwanted we do accept returns back with in 14 days. Please contact us via email to obtain a RMA Number. Please state the reason why you want to return the goods and the item number. We do expect goods to come back how they are despatched. If goods are not they may be a restocking fee. We can not accept shipping charges for returning goods that are unwanted.

If the goods are Faulty or incorrect. Please contact us for an RMA Number. In the email state the reason the goods are incorrect and the item number. Dependent on the item we will ask for the goods back (we will pay for shipping back) prior to shipping a replacement. In some cases we may just send out a replacement without the need of a return. In all cases we will cover any costs if we have sent something wrong.

If the goods are faulty or incorrect please pack the goods as they came to you. Failure to do this may delay the refund whilst we test the goods.

In some cases we may have run out of the items and can not send a replacement part. In these cases we will refund you everything including the shipping.

After 14 days our goods are on a Return to base warranty. This means that you have to send the goods back to us and we will replace the goods like for like or it f we can not do that give you a refund. We will not be paying shipping charges back after 14 days. Contact us for an RMA Number. 

Opening Hours / Communication 

We are a LTD Company. As such we have operating hours of between 9-5 Monday to Friday. We will answer all emails with in a 24 hour period. Sometimes if we are working late we may answer emails at a later period than this or the weekend. Please note that this is unusual and should not be expected.

We will answer all questions as best as possible. Please however read the advert as thoroughly as possible as we put all relevant information in that.
