Laptops – Keyboards and touch pads may show minor signs of wear. Batteries hold a minimum 30 minutescharge normal use (DVD & Video playback may drain the battery more quickly)

Display – Dead pixel count is equal or better than manufactures original specification

Printers – Consumables: We cannot guarantee Toner or Ink levels however we will endeavour to ensure there is sufficient for test purposes

We may occasionally offer ‘B Grade’ items that may not fully meet the above standards; adverts for B Grade items are always marked and any defects will be clearly stated in the Item Description.

Like the vast majority of our customers we want you to be delighted with your purchase but please remember you may return any item within 7 days for a full refund if you are not happy in any way. Our return policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Despite our best efforts on rare occasions an item may develop a fault; in most cases owing to transportation issues. Damage in Transport
If you order a courier delivery service please ensure you sign UNCHECKED when you accept the package. Please ensure you unpack and check your order thoroughly within 72 hours. Failure to take these steps may invalidate an insurance claim.

Warranty
All equipment sold has a minimum 30 day warranty; the warranty period begins from the date you receive your order. Our quality statement states that all items we supply should operate correctly and meet their advertised condition, description and technical specification. For the term of the warranty we will repair or replace items that do not conform to this Quality Statement . The cost of repair, parts and labour will be met by Re-sales Ltd.

The warranty is Return to Base (RTB) which means it is your responsibility to return the item to us. We will cover the cost of returning the item to you.

Support and warranty obligations for pre-installed software, such as Windows are limited to 72 hours from delivery. Please check your software installation carefully prior to installing further software. If you are unsure how to carry out system checks, please contact us for assistance.

Exclusions

As stated above our warranty is to ensure items we supply conform to our quality statement during the warranty period. It is not intended as an insurance policy. The warranty does not cover:

Accidental damage such as dropping, liquid immersion

Damage due misuse or using incorrect voltages

System failure owing to Operator induced errors

System failure attributable to malicious attack or any other security breaches

If you have any problems during the warranty period please contact us; we will work hard to resolve them quickly. Warranty repairs are carried out exclusively by Re-sales Ltd. Third party repairs are not covered under our warranty unless specifically authorised by Re-sales Ltd.

Please note: Our maximum obligation under the terms of our warranty is limited by the total cost of the item purchased. Compensation for loss of work, lost or corrupt data are explicitly excluded from our warranty, please see our General Trading Terms & Conditions for more information.

Returns

We accept a variety of payment methods however we recommend PayPal because it is integrated with Ebay and in most cases offers additional security and protection for both buyers and sellers.

Direct payment to our bank account – Some inter bank transfers may take up to 5 working days to clear. Most cash payments into our account clear the same day but in some cases clearing may take up to 24 hours.

Cash on collection – We accept cash on collection from our warehouse in Portsmouth by prior appointment ONLY. We are open Monday to Friday from 2:00pm to 4:30. Items for collection are not boxed. If customer requires boxing/packaging of items they will need to add £5.00 per parcel to cover handling/packaging costs.

VAT & Final Fees

Dispatch & Delivery

In most cases we aim to dispatch items purchased prior to12:30pm the same day. Items purchased between Friday afternoon and Monday morning will be dispatched on Monday.

We use a variety of leading UK couriers such as UK Mail, DHL, Parcel Force and Interlink. Unless stated all EBay purchases weighing between 2Kg-20Kg include Next Working Day delivery (Mon-Fri) to most UK mainland locations for parcels

Smaller parcels are sent via Royal Mail or Business Post Easy Pack with variable pricing depending on volume, weight and service required.

Pallet transportation is carried by UK Pallets, at a cost of £57 per pallet (VAT inclusive) for most UK mainland locations. Please contact us to confirm exact delivery cost.

Pallets are usually dispatched within 2 working days from receipt of cleared funds. Customers are welcome to arrange their own pallet transportation, however in this case we charge £8 per pallet to cover loading and palletising costs.
